Haven't had much time to hunt but did go out a couple of days last week. The V nickle was found on the outskirts of an old cemetery(not on the gravesite)where the path used to be. It was about 7" deep and came in loud and clear. The silver heart was found at a local school ground and the silver ring and 14K ring were found on the dry sand at Surfside beach. The X3 is one sweet easy to use machine.

Went back today and hunted the 1850's plantation site where I have found two previous US belt plates. I found two more today and some lead balls, a V nickle, a wheatie and some other stuff. This is pic of the overall items I found

This is the 4th plate and there is still a
piece of leather on the two arrow hooks

The last pic is of the 1900 V nickle which is the second one I have found there. The first was an 1890. Those two V nickles and that one wheatie (date is gone) are the only coins I have found. No buttons yet but I sure am trying. Thanks for looking. HH John
