I received the x5 (prototype) just a couple of days before our club's annual hunt. I was too busy getting ready for hunt to have any time to
practice with it except for the evening before the hunt. And then, it was only with a few coins and pull tabs so that I had a feel for it before the
actual hunts began.

Mike Turner was in the same situation with his x3 prototype. You can see in the pictures the results of our hunts. We did very well and since
then have done even better.

I have gone back to places that I have hunted before and pulled many deeper finds that were missed with other detectors. In my opinion the x5 is the best detector I have ever used. It is the complete package. When I go detecting it is usually for the entire day. I can hunt all day
because it is so light. It goes deeper and separates the "good from the bad" better than anything I have used. I have used five other brands.
The other individual photos are of coins and jewelry found with the x5. I attribute all of these finds to more depth in the case of the coins and
better separation on the pieces of jewelry.

The quality of the Troy Detectors coupled with the integrity of Troy Galloway and his company was instrumental in my decision to sell my
business and become the Western Distributor for Troy. To say that I am excited about our detectors and the whole organization would be an
understatement.
